Although the Metropolitan Railway had been taken over by London Transport in 1933, the services towards Aylesbury were still run by a Joint Committee with the LNER, a consequence of the line's history when it was run by the original Metropolitan Railway and Great Central Railway
The notes at the front of the timetable showing all routes covered and notes. Of interest are the notes concerning contacting the guard about stopping at certain stations. Also note the get out clause at the bottom, it seems to be saying that although this is a timetable, you should not rely on the trains actually running at these times!
