Metropolitan Station Distances

The table below is from 1975 and shows the distance between stations and the approximate running times between stations on the Metropolitan Line and also includes the then British rail line to Aylesbury and the Bakerloo Line to Stanmore.

Compared to today, off peak services were not as good, but there were more services calling at Amersham than today, although some of the Chiltern Aylesbury / Marylebone trains today will be faster.
